Sample Overland Itineraries

Town stays, scenic trails, and dispersed camping—designed for real-world Colorado & Utah adventures.

Most guests prefer a mix of experiences during their overland trip: a night or two exploring mountain towns, a night or two in a hotel to clean up, then scenic trails and peaceful off-grid camping. These sample itineraries blend the best of both worlds—historic towns, great dining, cultural stops, and approachable 4×4 routes.

Use these itineraries as planning inspiration. Adjust based on weather, comfort level, and season. For deeper route info, see Colorado Routes and Moab & Utah Routes.
